Heritage Line’s Anawrahta vessel is the embodiment of extravagance on Myanmar’s iconic waterways. Designed in a combination of Burmese tradition and British Colonial elegance, Anawrahta provides a truly unique atmosphere, which is not only noticeable in decoration and design, but also in service and ambience. The exclusive and discreetly tucked away Executive and Royal Suites are unsurpassed on Myanmar’s rivers, featuring a large terrace and exclusive amenities including a private butler service.

Kyaw Thuya is our dedicated butler on Anawrahta, ensuring our guests the unequaled experience of traveling in one of the Royal Suites. Perfectly skilled in personal management, energetic, experienced and highly passionate, Kyaw is always available for our guests, either by going on an excursion as a personal assistant or by providing private tours and private dining services in the suites.

Kyaw starts his day very early, preparing private breakfast – if guests wish so – at the dining salon of the Royal Suites or at the spacious outdoor living area. Moving swiftly between the tables for a rigorous preparation, he also manages in parallel the in-room espresso machine to fill the room with the scent of freshly brewed coffee. He studiously checks the suite one more time before the guests come back from the morning Tai Chi class. After breakfast, if guests are in an adventurous mood, they can always summon Kyaw for a private tour to a place of their liking for a very personal and unique experience on shore.

Another service he loves most – as guests love it most too – is to set up an indulging aromatherapy bath in the Jacuzzi of private Royal Suite terrace. This beautiful setting can only be topped by private dining on the balcony which Kyaw has delightfully prepared already and is ready to serve to the guests.

Kyaw is fulfilled by his work, that’s the reason why he is always so meticulous through thick and thin. As he knows, it’s not just service he is providing but the ability to be the flawless host and companion for “his guests” during their unforgettable voyage aboard the Anawrahta.
