Our Wellness voyages in October and November 2018 are the perfect intertwinement of relaxation, exploration and being active. Besides daily Yoga sessions, special massage and reflexology treatments by our Wellness host, Marion Meidlinger, Heritage Line has crafted an enriched cruise program with several new activities such as hiking or cycling tours.

On the Mekong Wellness Cruise, we offer five additional tours for a unique active experience. The most beautiful paths with iconic scenery are mainly accessible by foot or bicycle only. Join our two 10km-cycling tours through wonderfully unspoiled landscapes along the Mekong’s riverbanks, feeling the swell peace and the calmness that the surrounding nature emanates.

The Wellness Cruise in Myanmar contains two utter highlights – a hiking tour around the extinct volcano Mount Popa and a bicycle tour through the sacred plain of temples in Bagan.

A variety of hiking trails wind through the Popa Mountain Park leading to the rim of a volcano crater with marvelous viewpoints, waterfalls and scenery. The hiking tour takes around 3 hours and will leave you richly rewarded with breathtaking views over the Mount Popa. The bicycle tour through the temple-strewn landscape of Bagan offers easy access and close encounters of the most remarkable buildings of the over 2000 temples, stupas and pagodas. As final highlight during dusk, we will enjoy a majestic view from a pagoda “summit” over this unique scenery.

To get our guests in the right mood for these active excursions we offer every morning a yoga session by our host as well as an “Eye-Opener” –  a healthy drink to freshen up in the early morning.
