We were lucky this year running our high water program, which includes the crossing of the amazing Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia until December. Usually the high water period ends already mid-November.

Now the low water season has started and please note our first low water departures:

09 December 2017: Jayavarman, Saigon – Siem Reap
02 December2017: The Jahan, Saigon – Siem Reap

Please be reminded that during low water our guests will embark and disembark in Kampong Cham, a town at the lower Mekong river in Cambodia. Heritage Line includes all transfers to and from the ship to our meeting point in Siem Reap so passengers do not need to worry. Details of our low water itinerary can be downloaded here.

However, our low water Mekong cruises still visit the fascinating Tonle River region with its unique nature, marshlands and biodiversity. Gliding through leafy swaths of this jungle-like landscape we explore Cambodia’s water world with its timeless floating villages like Kampong Chhnang. Passenger will not have to miss any highlight of our Mekong river voyages.

Discover the wetlands of the Tonle region which is also during low water period a real highlight!
