For our newly crafted Gourmet and Wellness cruises on the Ayeyarwady River (Myanmar) and Mekong River (Cambodia) we have partnered up with three international culinary and wellness experts to make these voyages a unique event and experience. Two theme cruises in each destination are offered throughout September, October and November 2018.

Michelin Star chef Felix Eppisser will be hosting our Gourmet Cruise on the luxurious Anawrahta in Myanmar.  His renowned international reputation precedes him as he had a brilliant career in the world of fine dining around the world. Besides being a former member of the Swiss culinary national team and the Académie du Bocuse d’Or, he operated celebrated restaurants and famous Swiss hotels such as the Relais & Chateau Hotel Giardino in Ascona and The Dolder Grand in Zurich, just to name a few. Currently he is residing in Yangon where he opened his latest starlet – The SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge which is recognized as the best restaurant in Myanmar merging Asian flavors with international savors.

Sara Danesin Medio grew up in Italy and since her childhood has always been passionate about food. In 2011 she stood out with her way of celebrating and processing food at the famous MasterChef television show. Reaching the finals was a career changer for her. Opening her own restaurant in Yorkshire and offering intimate fine dining experiences for sophisticated society circles, she is now a highly requested entertainer in the United Kingdom. Incorporating her Italian roots in her food creations she also has strong expertise in French cuisine, always focusing on an ethos for simplicity and quality. Sara is very much looking forward to be our celebrity chef on The Jahan along the Mekong River. “I love challenges and to cook some unique menus in such a wonderful environment is something exceptional”, Sara mentioned to Heritage Line.

Our Wellness Voyages on the Ayeyarwady and the Mekong will welcome Marion Meidlinger, a knowledgeable health and yoga expert from Germany.  She will be the perfect front runner and instructor for our healthy activities on board. Her striking passion for yoga and healthy nutrition will be more than the icing on the cake giving a truly unique wellness ambience to those cruise trips. Marion owns a certified degree in yoga and physiotherapy. As a proficient advisor in special nourishment, she even grows her own organic herbs and spices on the rolling hills of Southern Germany and will share her insight on how to use those simple, organic products in a day-to-day diet at home. You are what you eat – that aphorism truly matches with Marion.
