Redesigned Upper Deck for Maximum Comfort

Get ready for a new level of comfort. The boutique Anouvong’s upper deck has undergone a complete makeover, offering passengers some more luxury and some more lifestyle moments to enjoy while meandering through soul-filled Laos. The sun deck, once at the front, is now at the back, giving guests unobstructed panoramic views of the river with the bar lounge connecting nicely with newly designed floor-to-ceiling glass doors connecting the inside with the outside almost seamlessly. But the advancements don’t stop there. Heritage Line ‘Anouvong’ will become the first vessel on the Upper Mekong to feature a small Jacuzzi pool on the deck. Picture that moment with you and a glass of bubbling champagne in your hand and the breathtaking upper Mekong river-mountain scenario as backdrop. Surreal serendipity or?

Just a short walk down the hallway you find another newly added facility. The new little gym is another river-mountain backdrop magnet offering breathtaking views of the river whilst cycling or running off some calories.

In the middle of the upper deck are four Deluxe Executive Staterooms which have been reconfigured, now featuring a more spacious layout with double beds facing the breathtaking Mekong panorama. Technical Improvements for a Smoother Ride

Below deck, the vessel has been fitted with a more powerful engine, new steering, rudder, and propellor system to ensure the most difficult river section can be maneuvered smoothly and safely. Only those who have been aboard and witnessed the Upper Mekong navigation by watching over our captain’s shoulder will understand what a power engine and a great steering facility mean to master this river. This river requires the highest skills in naval navigation and our open wheelhouse is welcoming anyone interested in understanding more about that.
