Since her inaugural journey in August 2019, Heritage Line Ylang has made quite the splash in Lan Ha Bay’s luxury cruising industry. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with guests praising the outstanding cuisine, onboard and on-shore wellness-related activities and the crew’s exceptional hospitality. As Mr. Ross from Canada states on TripAdvisor, “The staff on the Ylang were amazing and very accommodating. The attention to detail and level of service was exceptional.”
Of course, one simply cannot board Heritage Line Ylang without noticing her opulent, state-of-the-art facilities, particularly her 10 extravagant suites. And situated on Ylang’s secluded upper deck are the crème de la crème of luxurious living in Lan Ha Bay: her four spacious, ultra-lavish Regency Suites. Each is individually designed with handcrafted interiors dedicated to one of the seasons of the year as well as a blossom native to the bay.
The springtime suites, Grace Orchid and Pure Lotus (top-left photo), feature a graceful ambiance matched with exquisite watercolor wall panels and paintings, carved wooden floral images and hand-picked artefacts. These two abodes are the largest on the vessel (54 sqm/581 sqft) and include double beds facing the sea, sofa lounge areas, sliding glass doors which grant access to a private balcony and lustrous Italian marble bathrooms equipped with walk-in shower and Jacuzzi (bottom-left photo).
Set at the bow of the ship is another pair of exclusive Regency Suites. Like their counterparts, Royal Bamboo (top-right photo) and Glory Daisy are also equipped with similar lavish amenities. While Royal Bamboo’s elegant tones of blue and gold represent summer, Glory Daisy’s gentle browns and reds accentuated with classic white daisy blossoms inspire memories of autumn. What makes this duo truly outstanding, however, are their expansive front-facing balconies (10 sqm/108 sqft) with outdoor Jacuzzis (bottom-right photo), perfect for intimate moments amongst the stunning Lan Ha Bay scenery.
