We offer a variety of Asian, fusion and Western fare, always prepared with fresh local ingredients as well as fine imported products. Our multi-course dinner menus come with a variety of possibilities each course – all changed daily with new culinary delights. Always available are vegetarian options. We also can cater any other dietary request, from vegan to gluten free and more.

One who loves buffets will be delighted aboard Jayavarman. Our breakfast and lunch buffets offer a large variety of culinary discovery. For breakfast all the hardy standards are complemented with daily changing special dishes. Good coffee is a must, and so is fresh baked bread. The lunch spreads feature a plentiful selection of plates with no repeats throughout the entire trip. All is cooked fresh in our galley, and next to the main courses are a starter and a dessert corner.

All our buffets come alive with our live cooking station. There are the classic dishes such as freshly prepared omelets or mouthwatering soup – the all-time favourite morning dish of the region. The live station during our lunch buffet features a new and special dish every day, and among the offerings are freshly prepared carveries and local specialties served by our head chef.

Our bartenders are known as experimental practitioners and have created some very tasty concoctions. The bar is well equipped and can cater every wish that goes beyond a classic margarita or a well-deserved gin and tonic. But once in a blue moon, you should try the signature cocktail carefully crafted by the bar man and aptly named the ‘Jayavarman Kiss’.

Once during the Mekong voyage, we transform the sun deck into an extravagant culinary place to be. The open-air barbecue station plays the key role of our gala dinner, and our chefs grill all kinds of finest meats, sausages, fish, squids, etc. – all accompanied by a variety of side stations to enjoy a wonderful evening. The gala evening includes also entertainment in the form of an exquisite Khmer Apsara dance performance.

Served every day at the open air terrace bar & lounge is an Afternoon Tea with complimentary biscuits, cookies, tea and coffee.

As each of our staterooms and suites has a private balcony, we encourage guests to opt one time for a balcony breakfast and observe the early morning Mekong river life. Almost all items we serve at the large buffet can be ordered to your room. To serve breakfast at your requested time, you just have to fill out the menu the night before and hang it on your door handle. Our eager staff takes care of the rest for you.

Wines from all around the world are found on our vast wine list. Be it a Sauvignon blanc from the Bordeaux region of France or a wonderfully balanced merlot from Chile – We cooperate closely with professional wine sommeliers to keep our wine list expansive.

Of course, travelling in tropical regions brings to the table heaps of fruits. We let you try most of them in our special fruit tasting in the Mekong Delta (downstream itineraries)

As another culinary highlight, we invite passengers once during the complete 7-Night cruise to a grand British High Tea to indulge in various treats.
